ഡല്ഹി: ഇന്ത്യയില് ഏറ്റവും വ്യാപകമായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന പേയ്മെന്റ് രീതിയാണ് യുപിഐ. രാജ്യത്തെ ദശലക്ഷക്കണക്കിന് ഉപയോക്താക്കളാണ് ദൈനംദിന ഇടപാടുകള്ക്കായി ഡിജിറ്റല് പേയ്മെന്റ് രീതിയെ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നത്.
സാധാരണയായി ഇന്റര്നെറ്റ് ഇല്ലാതെ യുപിഐ ഇടപാടുകള് നടത്താന് കഴിയില്ല. അതിനാല്, മോശം കണക്റ്റിവിറ്റിയാണെങ്കില് യുപിഐ ഇടപാടുകള് നടത്താന് സാധിക്കില്ല.
ഈ സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് റിസര്വ് ബാങ്ക് ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ (ആര്ബിഐ) യുപിഐ ലൈറ്റ് ഫീച്ചര് അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്. യുപിഐ ആപ്ലിക്കേഷനില് നിന്ന് 200 രൂപ വരെയുള്ള ഇടപാടുകള് റിസര്വ് ബാങ്ക് അനുവദിച്ചിരുന്നുവെങ്കിലും പ്രധാന യുപിഐ ആപ്ലിക്കേഷനില് ഇത് ലഭ്യമായിരുന്നില്ല.
എന്നാല് ഇപ്പോള് ഈ സവിശേഷതകള് പേടിഎം പേയ്മെന്റ്സ് ബാങ്ക് ഉപയോക്താക്കള്ക്ക് ലഭ്യമാണ്. പേടിഎം ആപ്ലിക്കേഷന് വഴി തന്നെ ഇപ്പോള് യുപിഐ ലൈറ്റ് സവിശേഷത ഉപയോഗിക്കാം.
പേടിഎം അപ്ലിക്കേഷന് ഒരു ഉപയോക്താവിനെ 200 രൂപ വരെയുള്ള തല്ക്ഷണ ഇടപാടുകള് നടത്താന് അനുവദിക്കുന്നു. യുപിഐ ലൈറ്റിലേക്ക് ഒരു ദിവസം രണ്ട് തവണയായി പരമാവധി 2,000 രൂപ വരെ ചേര്ക്കാം.
അതേസമയം, യുപിഐ ലൈറ്റ് വഴി നടത്തുന്ന പേയ്മെന്റുകള് പേടിഎമ്മിന്റെ ബാലന്സ് ആന്ഡ് ഹിസ്റ്ററി വിഭാഗത്തില് മാത്രമേ ദൃശ്യമാകൂ. ബാങ്കിന്റെ പാസ്ബുക്കില് ഇവ കാണാന് കഴിയില്ല.
അതേസമയം, ഇന്റര്നെറ്റ് ഉള്ളപ്പോള് യുപിഐ ലൈറ്റിലേക്ക് പണം ചേര്ത്താല് മാത്രമേ ഇടപാടുകള് നടത്താന് കഴിയൂ. നിലവില് യുപിഐ ലൈറ്റ് ബാലന്സില് നിന്ന് പണം അയയ്ക്കാന് മാത്രമേ കഴിയൂ.
അതായത്, ഡെബിറ്റ് ചെയ്യാന് മാത്രമേ കഴിയൂ. കൂടാതെ, റീഫണ്ട് മുതലായവ ഉപയോക്താവിന്റെ ബാങ്ക് അക്കൗണ്ടില് ഓണ്ലൈനായി പ്രോസസ്സ് ചെയ്യും.

However, these features are now available to Paytm Payments Bank users. The UPI Lite feature can now be used through the Paytm app itself.
The Paytm app allows a user to make instant transactions of up to Rs 200. Up to Rs 2,000 can be added to the UPI Lite twice a day.
However, payments made through UPI Lite will only be visible in the balance and History section of Paytm. You can’t see it in the bank account.
At the same time, transactions can only be made by adding money to UPI Lite when there is internet. Currently, you can only send money via UPI.
