ഭർത്താവിനെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് കാമുകനൊപ്പം ജീവിക്കുന്നതിനായി സ്വന്തം രൂപസാദൃശ്യമുള്ള സ്ത്രീയെ യുവതി കൊലപ്പെടുത്തി. തെക്കൻ ജർമനിയിലെ ഇങ്കോള്‍സ്റ്റാഡിലാണ് നടുക്കുന്ന ഈ കൊലപാതകം നടന്നത്. കേസിൽ ഷെറാബാൻ എന്ന യുവതിയെ പൊലീസ് തിരയുകയാണ്.
കഴിഞ്ഞ ഓഗസ്റ്റില്‍ ഷെറാബാന്‍ താനുമായി പിണങ്ങിക്കഴിയുന്ന ഭര്‍ത്താവിനെ കാണാന്‍ പോയി. പക്ഷേ പിന്നീട് തിരിച്ചെത്തിയില്ല. ഷെറാബാനെ കാണാതായതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് വീട്ടുകാര്‍ നല്‍കിയ പരാതിയില്‍ നടത്തിയ അന്വേഷണത്തില്‍ അവരുടെ മെഴ്‌സീഡസ് കാര്‍ തെരുവില്‍ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ട നിലയില്‍ കണ്ടെത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഈ കാറില്‍ നിന്നും ഒരു യുവതിയുടെ മൃതദേഹം ലഭിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
കാറില്‍ നിന്ന് ലഭിച്ച യുവതിയുടെ മൃതദേഹത്തിന് ഷെറാബാനുവുമായി വളരെ രൂപസാദൃശ്യമുണ്ടായിരുന്നതിനാല്‍ ആര്‍ക്കും ആദ്യം സംശയം തോന്നിയില്ല. ഷെഹറാബാനുവിന്റെ വീട്ടുകാര്‍ പോലും കരുതിയത് അത് അവരുടെ മകളാണെന്നായിരുന്നു. നല്ല ബന്ധത്തിലല്ലായിരുന്ന ഭര്‍ത്താവ് തന്നെ ഷെറാബാനുവിനെ കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയതായിരിക്കാമെന്നാണ് കുടുംബവും നടത്തിയത്.
പോസ്റ്റുമോര്‍ട്ടം റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടിലെ വിവരങ്ങള്‍ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് നടത്തിയ അന്വേഷണത്തില്‍ യഥാര്‍ഥത്തില്‍ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടത് ഖദീജ എന്ന യുവതിയാണെന്ന് പൊലീസ് കണ്ടെത്തിയത് വഴിത്തിരിവായി. ഇതോടെ വ്യക്തമായ പദ്ധതിയോടെ ഷെറാബാന്‍ മറ്റൊരു നിരപരാധിയായ യുവതിയെ വധിച്ചെന്ന് മനസിലായി. ഇന്‍സ്റ്റഗ്രാമില്‍ നിന്നാണ് തന്നോട് രൂപ സാദൃശ്യമുള്ളയാളെ ഷെറാബാന്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയതെന്നും പൊലീസ് പറയുന്നു. താന്‍ മരിച്ചെന്ന് ലോകത്തെ വിശ്വസിപ്പിക്കാനായിരുന്നു സുകുമാരക്കുറുപ്പിനെ പോലെ ഷെറബാന്റേയും ശ്രമം. കൊലപാതകത്തില്‍ കാമുകന്‍ ഷെഖിറിനും പങ്കുണ്ടെന്ന് പൊലീസ് കരുതുന്നുണ്ട്.
ഡാന്യൂബ് നദിയുടെ കരയില്‍ നിന്നാണ് ഷെറാബാനിന്റെ കാര്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. ഈ പ്രദേശത്താണ് ഷഹറാബാനിന്റെ കൊസോവന്‍ കാമുകന്‍ ഷെഖിര്‍ കെ താമസിക്കുന്നതെന്ന വിവരവും പൊലീസിന് ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. കാമുകനൊപ്പം ജീവിക്കാന്‍ യുവതി ഇത്തരത്തിലൊരു ക്രൂരകൃത്യം ചെയ്തുവെന്നാണ് പൊലീസ് പറയുന്നത്.
