‘‘പക്ഷേ എന്റെ പ്രകടനത്തിൽ എനിക്കു നല്ല തൃപ്തിയുണ്ട്. കാരണം അതൊന്നും അത്ര എളപ്പമുള്ള പിച്ചുകളല്ല. ബോളർമാർ അത്രയും മികച്ച പന്തുകൾ എറിയുമ്പോൾ സിംഗിൾ എടുക്കുന്നതു പോലും എളുപ്പമാകില്ല. ഒന്നോ രണ്ടോ സിക്സുകൾ അവിടെ നേടാൻ സാധിച്ചാൽ, കാര്യങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ടീമിന് അനുകൂലമാക്കാൻ കഴിയുമെന്ന വിശ്വാസമാണുള്ളത്. ഭാഗ്യത്തിന് നിർണായക സമയങ്ങളിലെല്ലാം എനിക്ക് അതു ചെയ്യാൻ സാധിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.’’– ശ്രേയസ് അയ്യർ ഒരു ദേശീയ മാധ്യമത്തോടു പറഞ്ഞു.
