ന്യൂഡൽഹി∙ ബാങ്ക് സെർവറിനു തകരാറുണ്ടായാൽ പോലും യുപിഐ പണമിടപാട് ഇനി എളുപ്പത്തിൽ നടക്കും. ഗൂഗിൾ പേ, ഫോൺപേ, പേയ്ടിം, ഭീം തുടങ്ങിയ ആപ്പുകൾ വഴി, ഒരു ഇടപാടിൽ 500 രൂപ വരെ ‘പിൻ നമ്പർ’ പോലും നൽകാതെ അതിവേഗം അയയ്ക്കാം.
യുപിഐ ലൈറ്റ് സേവനത്തിന്റെ പരിധി ഉയർത്തിയ ആർബിഐ തീരുമാനം പ്രാബല്യത്തിൽ വന്നു. ഇതുവരെയുള്ള പരിധി 200 രൂപയായിരുന്നു.
പരിധി ഉയർത്തിയതോടെ ഭൂരിഭാഗം പേരുടെയും ദൈനംദിന ഇടപാടുകളിൽ ഏറിയ പങ്കിനും പിൻ നമ്പർ ആവശ്യമില്ലാതായി. വോലറ്റുകൾക്ക് സമാനമാണ് യുപിഐ ലൈറ്റ്.
ബാങ്ക് അക്കൗണ്ടിലെ തുക യുപിഐ ലൈറ്റ് എന്ന വോലറ്റിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി സൂക്ഷിക്കണം. 500 രൂപ വരെയുള്ള ഇടപാടുകൾ ബാങ്ക് അക്കൗണ്ടിനു പകരം ഈ വോലറ്റിൽ നിന്നായിരിക്കും പോകുന്നത്.
പരമാവധി 2,000 രൂപ വരെ ഒരുസമയം യുപിഐ ലൈറ്റിൽ സൂക്ഷിക്കാം. പണം പോകുന്നത് വോലറ്റിൽ നിന്നായതിനാൽ ഇവ ബാങ്ക് സ്റ്റേറ്റ്മെന്റിലും പാസ്‍ബുക്കിലും രേഖപ്പെടുത്തില്ല.
പേയ്മെന്റ് പരാജയപ്പെടുന്ന സ്ഥിതിയും ഒഴിവാകും. ചെറു ഇടപാടുകൾ സ്റ്റേറ്റ്മെന്റിൽ നിറയുന്നതും ഒഴിവാകുകയും, ബാങ്കുകളുടെ ലോഡ് കുറയുകയും ചെയ്യും.
യുപിഐ ലൈറ്റ് ഉപയോഗിക്കാൻ ∙ ഗൂഗിൾ പേ, പേയ്ടിഎം, ഫോൺപേ, ഭീം എന്നീ ആപ്പുകളിൽ ഏതെങ്കിലുമൊന്നിന്റെ ഹോം പേജിലെ യുപിഐ ലൈറ്റ് ഓപ്ഷൻ തുറക്കുക. ഗൂഗിൾ പേ എങ്കിൽ പ്രൊഫൈൽ ചിത്രത്തിൽ ടാപ് ചെയ്താൽ ‘യുപിഐ ലൈറ്റ്’ കാണാം.
∙ ബാങ്ക് അക്കൗണ്ട് തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത് ‘Proceed’ നൽകാം. ഇഷ്ടമുള്ള തുക (പരമാവധി 2,000 രൂപ വരെ) യുപിഐ ലൈറ്റ് വോലറ്റിലേക്ക് ചേർക്കാം.
∙ 500 രൂപ വരെയുള്ള ഇടപാടെങ്കിൽ പണം യുപിഐ ലൈറ്റിൽ നിന്നായിരിക്കും പോകുന്നത്. ഇവയ്ക്ക് പിൻ ആവശ്യമില്ല.
അതിനു മീതെയെങ്കിൽ ബാങ്ക് അക്കൗണ്ടിൽ നിന്ന് സാധാരണ യുപിഐ ഇടപാട് വഴിയായിരിക്കും. ∙ യുപിഐ ലൈറ്റിലെ തുകയുടെ വിനിയോഗം യുപിഐ ആപ്പിലൂടെ അറിയാനാകും.
