കോലിയുടെ അനാവശ്യ ഷോട്ടിനോടുള്ള നീരസം പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ച്, ‘ഞാൻ അടിക്കുമായിരുന്നില്ലേ’ എന്നായിരുന്നു രാഹുലിന്റെ പ്രതികരണം. കോലി പുറത്തായി മടങ്ങുമ്പോൾത്തന്നെയായിരുന്നു രാഹുലിന്റെ ഈ പരാമർശം. സാംപയ്‌ക്കെതിരെ സിക്സർ നേടി രാഹുൽ സമ്മർദ്ദം അയച്ചതിനു പിന്നാലെയായിരുന്നു കോലിയുടെ ഷോട്ട്.
