മുംബൈ∙ ജൂൺ ഒടുവിലെ കണക്ക് അനുസരിച്ച് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ വിദേശ കടം 62910 കോടി ഡോളറായി ഉയർന്നെന്ന് റിസർവ് ബാങ്ക് ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ. മാർച്ചിൽ 62430 കോടി ഡോളറായിരുന്നു കടം. മൊത്ത ആഭ്യന്തര ഉൽപാദനവും വിദേശ കടവുമായുള്ള അനുപാതം 18.6 ശതമാനമായി കുറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്.
മാർച്ചിൽ ഇത് 18.8 ശതമാനമായിരുന്നു. ഡോളറും മറ്റു കറൻസികളുമായി താരതമ്യം ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ രൂപയുടെ വിലയിടിഞ്ഞതാണ് കടം പെരുകാൻ ഒരു കാരണം.
ദീർഘകാല കടം 50550 കോടി ഡോളറാണ്. മാർച്ചിലേതിനേക്കാൾ 960 കോടി ഡോളർ വർധിച്ചു.
മൊത്തം കടത്തിൽ ഹ്രസ്വകാല കടം 19.6 ശതമാനമായി കുറഞ്ഞു. മാർച്ചിൽ 20.6 ശതമാനമായിരുന്നു.
