ന്യൂഡൽഹി∙ ചെറുപയറും ആപ്പിളും ഉൾപ്പെടെ യുഎസിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ആറ് ഉൽപന്നങ്ങൾക്ക് ചുമത്തിയിരുന്ന അധിക തീരുവ ഇന്ത്യ ഒഴിവാക്കി. 2019ൽ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള സ്റ്റീൽ, അലുമിനിയം ഉൽപന്നങ്ങൾക്ക് തീരുവ വർധിപ്പിച്ച യുഎസ് നടപടിക്ക് പ്രതികരണമായാണ് 28 യുഎസ് ഉൽപന്നങ്ങൾക്ക് ഇന്ത്യ അധിക തീരുവ ചുമത്തിയത്. ചെറുപയർ (10%), ചുവന്നപരിപ്പ് (20%), ഫ്രഷ്/ ഉണങ്ങിയ ബദാം (കിലോഗ്രാമിന് 7 രൂപ), ഷെൽഡ് ബദാം (കിലോഗ്രാമിന് 20 രൂപ), വാൽനട്ട് (20%), ആപ്പിൾ (20%) എന്നിങ്ങനെയായിരുന്നു അധിക തീരുവ. ജി 20 ഉച്ചകോടിക്കു വേണ്ടി യുഎസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ജോ ബൈഡൻ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ എത്തുന്നതിനു മുന്നോടിയായാണ് നടപടി.
രണ്ടു ദിവസം മുൻപാണ് കേന്ദ്ര വാണിജ്യ മന്ത്രാലയം ഇതു സംബന്ധിച്ച ഉത്തരവിറക്കിയത്. $(window).on('hashchange', function() {
