മുംബൈ∙ അസംസ്കൃത എണ്ണവില ബാരലിന് 90 ഡോളർ കടന്നതോടെ രൂപയുടെ മൂല്യം 10 മാസത്തെ താഴ്ചയിലെത്തി. ഇന്നലെ വ്യാപാരം ആരംഭിച്ചപ്പോൾ ഡോളറിനെതിരെ രൂപയുടെ മൂല്യം 83.18 ആയി കുറഞ്ഞു.
83.13 ലാണ് വ്യാപാരം അവസാനിപ്പിച്ചത്. സൗദിയും റഷ്യയും എണ്ണ ഉൽപാദനം കുറയ്ക്കാനുള്ള തീരുമാനം ഡിസംബർ വരെ നീട്ടിയതാണ് വില കുതിച്ചുയരാനുള്ള കാരണം.
10 മാസത്തെ ഏറ്റവും ഉയർന്ന നിലവാരത്തിലാണ് എണ്ണവില. തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് അടുത്ത സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ പെട്രോൾ, ഡീസൽ വില കുറയ്ക്കുമെന്ന പ്രതീക്ഷയ്ക്കു മങ്ങലേൽപ്പിക്കുന്നതാണ് വില വർധന.
ക്രൂഡ്‌വില ഉയരുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ വില കുറയ്ക്കാൻ എണ്ണക്കമ്പനികൾ തയാറാകാത്തതിനാൽ നികുതി കുറച്ച് 3–5 രൂപ വരെ ഇളവ് ഇന്ധന വിലയിൽ നൽകിയേക്കുമെന്ന സൂചനകളുമുണ്ട്. അതേസമയം, വില ഇനിയും ഉയരാനുള്ള സാഹചര്യം വിപണിയിൽ നിലനിൽക്കുന്നതു പ്രതീക്ഷകൾക്കു തിരിച്ചടിയാണ്. രാജ്യത്തിനാവശ്യമായ എണ്ണയുടെ 85 ശതമാനവും ഇറക്കുമതി ചെയ്യുകയാണ്.
ഈ മാസം ഇന്ത്യ ശരാശരി 89.81 ഡോളറിനാണ് എണ്ണ ഇറക്കുമതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ മാസം ഇത് 86.67 ഡോളറിനായിരുന്നു.
കഴിഞ്ഞ മേയ്–ജൂൺ മാസങ്ങളിൽ വില 73–75 ഡോളറായി കുറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. ഏഷ്യൻ കറൻസികൾ നഷ്ടത്തിൽ ക്രൂഡ് വില വർധനയ്ക്കൊപ്പം ഡോളർ കൂടുതൽ ശക്തമാകുന്നതും ഏഷ്യൻ കറൻസികളെയെല്ലാം ബാധിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.
അമേരിക്കയുടെ ട്രഷറി വരുമാനം ഉയരുന്നതിനാലും പലിശ വർധന ഇനിയുമുണ്ടാകുമെന്നു വ്യക്തമായതിനാലും സുരക്ഷിത നിക്ഷേപമെന്ന നിലയിലുള്ള വാങ്ങലാണ് ഇപ്പോൾ ഡോളറിൽ നടക്കുന്നത്. ഡോളർ ഇൻഡക്സ് 104.90 വരെ ഉയർന്നു.
ചൈനയിലെ പ്രതിസന്ധിയും ഡോളറിന്റെ ഡിമാൻഡ് കൂട്ടുന്നുണ്ട്. റിസർവ് ബാങ്കിന്റെ ഇടപെടൽ ഫലപ്രദമായി നടക്കുന്നതിനാലാണ് രൂപയുടെ മൂല്യം പരിധിവിട്ട് ഇടിയാത്തത്.
