സിഐഎസ്എഫ് തീരദേശ സൈക്ലത്തൺ നാളെ മുതൽ; ആകെ 6553 കിലോമീറ്റർ, നേതൃത്വം നൽകാൻ 125 സിഐഎസ്എഫ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ

മുംബൈ∙ കേന്ദ്ര വ്യവസായ സുരക്ഷാ സേന (സിഐഎസ്എഫ്) യുടെ 56–ാം സ്ഥാപക ദിനാചരണത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി ‘സുരക്ഷിത തീരം, സമൃദ്ധമായ ഇന്ത്യ’ എന്ന മുദ്രാവാക്യവുമായി ‘ഗ്രേറ്റ് ഇന്ത്യ കോസ്റ്റൽ സൈക്ലത്തൺ’ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. തീര ദേശങ്ങളിലൂടെയുള്ള വർധിച്ചു വരുന്ന ലഹരി, ആയുധ, സ്ഫോടക വസ്തു കടത്തുകൾക്കെതിരെയാണ് സൈക്ലത്തൺ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.

14 വനിതകൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെ 125 സിഐഎസ്എഫ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരാണ് 6553 കിലോമീറ്റർ നീളുന്ന സൈക്ലത്തണിനു നേതൃത്വം നൽകുക. നാളെ ഗുജറാത്തിലെ ലഖ്പത്തിലും ബംഗാളിലെ ബക്കാലിയിലും നിന്നാണ് സൈക്ലത്തൺ ആരംഭിക്കുക. തമിഴ്നാട്ടിലെ തക്കോലം സിഐഎസ്എഫ് പരിശീലന കേന്ദ്രത്തിൽ ആഭ്യന്തര മന്ത്രി അമിത് ഷാ ഓൺലൈനായി സൈക്ലത്തണിന്റെ ഫ്ലാഗ് ഓഫ് നിർവഹിക്കുമെന്ന് സിഐഎസ്എഫ് അഡീഷനൽ ഡയറക്ടർ ജനറൽ സുധീർകുമാർ പറഞ്ഞു.

25 ദിവസം നീളുന്ന സൈക്ലത്തൺ തീരദേശ നഗരങ്ങളായ മുംബൈ, ഗോവ, മംഗലാപുരം, വിശാഖപട്ടണം, ചെന്നൈ, പുതുച്ചേരി, കൊച്ചി വഴി 31ന് കന്യാകുമാരിയിൽ സമാപിക്കും. 29ന് വൈകിട്ട് എറണാകുളം രാജേന്ദ്ര മൈതാനിയിൽ സൈക്ലത്തണിനു സ്വീകരണം നൽകും.
